My Story
Hola, I'm Hulia, a proud Mexican Angelino who fell in love with Cancún and made it my home. My journey with coconuts began unexpectedly, sparked by the idea of a simple coconut bracelet. During a challenging time, I started crafting these pieces and inscribing them with personal inspiring messages like "Vive Tu Vida" and "No Te Rindas," which became my daily reminders of strength.
The name CocoZano came to me during this period of creation and healing. "Zano" comes from "Sanar" (to heal), and these little coconut pieces became a significant part of my own healing process.
CocoZano's success is deeply intertwined with Neli, who has been by my side for 18 years. Starting with me early on, she has grown to become my invaluable right hand, and her dedication and support are essential to the development of CocoZano.
CocoZano is more than just a business; it's a way to share the beauty of 100% recycled Yucatan coconut, a material steeped in the history of the Mayan people with those that visit the Mexican Carribean. Our small team, including local artisans and single mothers, finds purpose in creating these unique handicrafts. It's a blessing to support our community through CocoZano.
